Commercial Partners Title is proud to be this year’s host company for the Minnesota Land Title Association 2017 convention, which is being held on Thursday and Friday August 3rd and 4th in Duluth.

Business & Education

The annual meeting is the business meeting of the Association.  This year, in addition to updating members on the activities of the year, and electing new members of the Board of Directors, the Association will consider updates to its bylaws.  At the convention, there will also be great educational opportunities.  Cynthia McGovern, the First Lady of Sales, will help us focus our sales efforts and communicate about what we as title agents provide to our customers. ALTA President, Dan Mennenoh will discuss relevant national issues and direction.  Ken Barnhart, a cyber-security expert, will help identify key ways that members can protect themselves in our current environment of computer and wire fraud.

Fun

There’s always a little bit of fun and education that goes on while we’re at these events. In addition to a chance to go golfing for those who golf, we will be having a tour up at the Glensheen mansion, and we are having a special private tour for some of our members of the in-process restoration of the North Shore Theater in Duluth.
